The kits are designed for children aged 4 and up. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children, particularly during the painting stage. The characters are chunky enough for small hands to hold and paint easily.

These kits are ready made and dispatched quickly — much faster than our made-to-order name kits. You'll receive a dispatch notification by email once your order is on its way.

Nothing at all. Every kit contains the plaster characters, paint colours, brush, kraft box and instruction card. The only thing you might want to add is a small cup of water for rinsing the brush between colours — that's it.

Absolutely — the three included colours are chosen to suit each theme, but there are no rules. A purple T-Rex or a blue crab is entirely welcome. The whole point is that every child's version comes out uniquely theirs.

Do Art Create is a UK-based children's creative business founded in London by Darren and Orvin. Every kit we sell — from our personalised name letters to our plaster character sets — is handmade by us, not mass produced in a factory.
Our plaster pieces are individually cast using hard casting plaster — a smooth, durable material that holds fine detail well and provides a brilliant painting surface for children of all abilities. Because each piece is hand-cast, there may be very minor surface variations from kit to kit. We think that's exactly as it should be. Handmade means no two are ever quite the same.
Every kit is packed with care at our London base, wrapped in tissue paper inside a kraft gift box, and dispatched personally by the Do Art Create team.
