Parties

Most-asked questions about party bookings

  • We offer four distinct creative party experiences: Mug Mania (children design and decorate their own ceramic mug, heat pressed on-site), Denim & Cap Customisation (patches, gems and fabric pens on a wearable item they take home), Perler Bead Creations (intricate bead designs fused on-site into keyrings, coasters and more), and Canvas Art Party (a guided painting session with a shared theme and wonderfully individual results). Every party is fully hosted, completely screen-free, and designed so every child goes home with something they made themselves.

  • We come to you. Whether that's your home, a hired venue, or a community space — we arrive with everything we need and leave it exactly as we found it. You don't need to source a venue unless you'd like to.

  • Mug Mania, Perler Bead Creations and Canvas Art Party are all perfect from age 5 upwards. Denim & Cap Customisation works beautifully from age 6 and is particularly popular with the 6–10 age group.

  • Get in touch with your group size and we'll confirm the best setup. We work with a range of group sizes to make sure every child gets proper attention and guidance throughout the session. Minimum numbers apply — please enquire for details.

  • Party duration is tailored to your group size and chosen experience. We'll confirm all timings when you enquire so everything fits perfectly into your day.

  • We plan for everything. Canvas Art sessions use protective coverings on all surfaces. Perler Beads are fused by us, not the children. Denim & Cap involves no paint whatsoever. Mug Mania uses child-friendly pens. We set up, manage the session, and clear away completely — your space is always left exactly as we found it.

  • For Perler Beads, Denim & Cap and Canvas Art, finished pieces go home on the day. For Mug Mania, mugs are heat pressed on-site where possible. In some cases they are finished shortly after and available to collect or delivered — we'll confirm which applies at enquiry stage.

  • Party pricing is per child and varies by experience and group size. Please get in touch for a quote tailored to your specific requirements — we're always happy to discuss what works for your group and budget.

  • We love a bespoke request. Get in touch and tell us what you have in mind — we're always open to a conversation and happy to explore what's possible.

Workshops

Venues, booking, ages and what to expect

  • We run workshops in four formats: Weekend Workshops at quality venues across the UK, School Holiday Workshops for half-terms and summer, After-School Sessions for a screen-free wind-down after school, and Private Group Bookings for home education groups, school groups and children's clubs. All workshops are suitable for children aged 5–10.

  • Not at all. Every Do Art Create workshop is designed to be accessible to complete beginners while still engaging for children with more experience. Our sessions are led to the group in front of us — no child is ever left behind or held back.

  • All workshops require pre-booking. You can reserve your child's place using the booking button on each event listing. Spaces are limited and do sell out — we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

  • We partner with quality venues across the UK — including our upcoming session at Cass Art Kingston. New venues and dates are added regularly throughout the year. Join our mailing list to be the first to hear about new locations.

  • Yes — we offer private group bookings for home education groups, school groups and children's clubs. Get in touch via our enquiry page and we'll put together a bespoke proposal for your group.

Craft Kits

Personalised crayon and plaster kits

  • We make two types of personalised craft kit, each spelled out in your child's name. The Custom Name Crayon Kit contains handmade crayon letters in vibrant, melt-resistant colours — perfect for colouring or display. The Custom Name Plaster Paint Kit contains plaster letters ready to paint, along with mini paints, a brush and instructions. Both come gift boxed with tissue paper and are made to order. Prices start from £8 based on name length.

  • Count the number of letters in the name — Short covers 3–5 letters (e.g. Ella, Noah) at £8, Medium covers 6–8 letters (e.g. Amelia, Charlie) at £10, and Long covers 9–12 letters (e.g. Evangeline) at £12. If you need more than 12 letters, add Extra Letters at £1 each at checkout.

  • Each kit is handmade to order — please allow 5–7 working days for your order to be crafted and dispatched. UK delivery is included in the price. If you need your kit by a specific date, add a note at checkout and we'll do our very best.

  • Absolutely — our kits work beautifully for any name, any age. They make wonderful gifts for grandparents, teachers and anyone who loves something personal and handmade.

  • Our crayon letters are made with non-toxic, melt-resistant materials. As with all small craft items, we recommend adult supervision for children under 3.

  • Yes — simply add both the Crayon Kit and the Plaster Paint Kit to your cart, selecting the same size for each. They make a wonderful combined gift and are often ordered together for birthdays and Christmas.

Personalised Mugs

Upload, print and delivery questions

  • Download one of our free mug design templates, let your child draw and colour their own design, then upload a photo or scan of their finished artwork on our Upload & Order page. We print it onto a quality ceramic mug using professional sublimation printing and post it to your door within 7–10 days. Mugs start from £10 including UK delivery.

  • Lay the template flat on a plain, light-coloured surface in natural daylight. Make sure the whole design is in frame and nothing is out of focus. Avoid flash if possible — it can wash out the colours. The better the photo, the better the print.

  • Not at all. If your child has drawn their own design on plain paper, we can work with any clear artwork. Just make sure it fits within the mug area and uses solid, bright colours for the best result.

  • Yes — our mugs are dishwasher safe and the sublimation print is designed to last. We recommend placing on the top rack for the best results over time.

  • Yes — you can order 1, 2 or 3 mugs in a single order at a saving. One mug is £10, two mugs are £18, and three mugs are £25. If you'd like more than three, get in touch and we'll arrange a bespoke order.

  • We want every order to be something you're proud to give or keep. If something isn't right, please get in touch and we'll find a solution. Your satisfaction genuinely matters to us.

Templates, downloads and how they work

  • Completely free. Simply enter your email on our Free Printables page and we'll send all four mug design templates straight to your inbox as a PDF — ready to print at home as many times as you like. No obligation to order a printed mug.

  • The free pack contains four templates: My Superpower (draw yourself as a superhero with your own power and name), Animal Friends (design a real or imaginary animal with a name and speech bubble), My Happy Place (illustrate the place that makes you feel most like you), and My Dream Mug (design the mug you'd want to see every single morning). Suitable for children aged 5–12.

  • The templates are designed for children aged 5–12. They include a range of prompts — from open and expressive for younger children to more detailed for older ones. There are no wrong answers.

  • Yes — that's exactly what they're designed for. Once your child has finished their design, head to our Upload & Order page to submit their artwork and order a professionally printed ceramic mug from £10 including UK delivery.

We offer screen-free creative parties, workshops, personalised craft kits and printed mug keepsakes, all designed so every child leaves with something they made themselves. Every session is guided, fully hosted and built around the same simple belief: the joy of making something real with your own hands.
