The people behind Do Art Create

Two parents. One shared belief — that every child deserves the joy of making something with their own hands.

A young girl with curly hair sits at a table outside, drawing on a piece of paper with a red marker. She is wearing a pink shirt with a cream-colored vest and a bracelet. In the background, there is a lawn with small white flowers, a fallen piece of wood, and dense green bushes.

It started with a pile of drawings and a question.

Once the soft play days are over, what comes next? As a parent in London, I know that feeling well. You want your child to have fun — but you also want them to do something that means something. Something that reflects their own effort, their own imagination, their own hands.

My daughter loves to draw and paint. For a while, I was surrounded by piles of colourful masterpieces — beautiful things that deserved far better than a drawer. That's when the idea struck: why not turn those creations into something lasting? Into gifts, keepsakes, and experiences that genuinely celebrate a child's imagination?

That question became Do Art Create. And everything we do — every workshop, every party, every printed mug — still comes back to that same simple idea: children make things that matter. They deserve to see them celebrated.

Darren

Founder & Creative Director

Darren started Do Art Create after watching his daughter fill the house with artwork that deserved to be celebrated rather than forgotten. A parent first and entrepreneur second, he built the business around one principle: that children's creativity should be taken seriously — and turned into something lasting. He leads every party and workshop with warmth, energy, and an endless supply of creative ideas.

Orvin

Co-Founder & Workshop Lead

Orvin brings creativity, patience, and a genuine love of working with children to every Do Art Create session. As co-founder and workshop lead, he makes sure every child — regardless of their ability or experience — feels confident, supported, and proud of what they've made. The kind of person every child wants running their party.

To give every child the experience of making something real — and the pride that comes with it.

Screen-free. Hands-on. Genuinely creative. That's what Do Art Create is built on — and it always will be.

Parties and workshops designed to inspire.

Do Art Create offers children's creative workshops and parties across London and beyond — screen-free, hands-on experiences designed for children aged 5 and up. From our Mug Mania and Canvas Art parties to our weekend and school holiday workshops, every experience is built around the same promise: every child leaves with something they made themselves.

Each experience is a confidence boost as much as a creative one. Children discover what they're capable of when they're given the right environment, the right materials, and two people who genuinely believe in what they're making.
